How to Set a Full-Size DP on WhatsApp Without the App
First, open the photo in your phone's gallery that you want to set as a full-size DP.
Then click on the Edit option shown below.
Then click on the Crop & Rotate option.
Click the Crop icon again, select the image size in a 1:1 ratio, and crop the photo.
Now, save the photo.
Next, open WhatsApp on your mobile and click on the 3-dot menu option in the top right corner.
After clicking on the Settings option, click on the profile icon next to your name.
This way, click on the camera icon, select the Gallery option, and set the selected photo in a 1:1 ratio as your DP.
How to Set a Full DP on WhatsApp from the App
First, install an app called Square Fit – Blur Photo Editor.
Open it on your mobile and allow permission.
You will then see the Single option. Click on it.
After this, your mobile gallery will open. Select the photo from here.
Also, square it and add it to your WhatsApp profile.
There are many filters available here, such as background blur, frame, etc.
After this, select the photo in a 1:1 ratio and save it.
In this way, your square photo has been saved in your mobile. You can easily set it as your WhatsApp profile photo or DP by selecting it.
