How to become an Ayurvedic doctor?

What is BAMS course?

BAMS course is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. This course is also called MBBS of Ayurveda. In this course of 5.5 years duration, complete education is given about anatomy, toxicology, pharmacology, forensic medicine, diagnosis and prevention of disease etc.

Eligibility to become an Ayurvedic Doctor

If you want to become an Ayurvedic doctor, then you have to complete BAMS, the most prominent course in the Ayurvedic field. To complete this course, the following qualification is being shown below, after completing which you can become an Ayurvedic doctor.

To become an Ayurvedic doctor, the minimum age should be more than 17 years, only then you will be considered eligible for BAMS course.

To do this course, it is mandatory for the student to have passed 10th from a recognized educational institution.

 After 10th, it is mandatory to pass 11th and 12th class in science stream. Chances of admission increase if you pass biology subject in science stream.

To become an Ayurvedic doctor, it is necessary to pass 12th class with 50% marks. While reserved category candidates are also given relaxation.
