How to Become Station Master in Railway?
To become a station master in railway, you must have a graduation degree as a minimum qualification. Along with this, your age should be between 18 to 32 years, in which there is also a provision of age relaxation in the form of reservation. After this, you will have to participate in the railway examination conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board, after which the candidate who passes the examination is appointed to the post of station master.

Rail Transport and Management, Transport Economics, Multimodal Transport (Containerization) Diploma Courses being run by the Institute of Rail Transport located in Rail Bhavan, New Delhi are also considered eligible to become a station master.

To become a railway station master, the age limit of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years. Candidates of reserved category are given relaxation as per rules.
Salary
The pay scale for railway station master is Rs 5200-20200 and its grade pay is 2800, thus the total salary is approximately Rs 38000.
