Qualification to become a pilot
General educational qualification is required to become a pilot, in which you have to score good marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects in 12th class. Apart from this, you should also have a good command over the English language.
Generally, there are many types of pilots, but mainly they are divided into 2 categories. The qualification for both these categories is given below, such as:
When you are applying for a pilot license, your age should be 16 years.
If you want to become a private pilot, then your age should be 17 years.
Your age should be 18 years while obtaining a commercial license.
If you apply directly for a private pilot license after class 12, then you will have to pass the examination conducted by DGCA i.e. Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
If a candidate is color blind or whose Eye Vision is less than 6/6, he will not be considered eligible for pilot.
Also, your height should be at least 5 feet.
It is also important that you are mentally and physically healthy.
What to do to become a pilot?
• Pass the 10th class examination with good marks.
• Take science subjects in 11th.
• After this, pass 12th class with good percentage i.e. minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

How to Become a Pilot in India in Hindi
1. Pass 10th class to become a pilot
If you want to become a pilot, then first of all you should pass 10th class with good percentage and

2. Pass 12th class to become a pilot
If you want to become a pilot, then you have to pass 12th class PCM subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Maths with at least 50% marks, after which you can take admission in pilot training course.
3. Pass the entrance exam
If you want to become a pilot in the Indian Air Force, then you have to pass the NDA (Combined Defense Examination) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. To participate in the NDA exam, your age should be 17 years and you must also be physically and mentally healthy, for which you need to provide fitness and medical certificate.
If your dream is to become a commercial pilot, then for your information, commercial pilots are those pilots who fly a special plane, in which Indian airlines companies like Indigo, Air India, Jet Airways allow students to fly planes after obtaining a commercial pilot certificate. The qualifications to become a commercial pilot are also the same as that of a normal pilot. To become a pilot, you have to pass three stages:

4. Take admission in Flying School
After passing 12th with good marks, you can take admission in any good flying school or you can do commercial pilot course under the pilot program. The course to become a commercial pilot is of 18 to 24 months.
5. Get a student pilot license
The criteria for getting a student pilot license is 60 hours, which is very easy.
When you take admission in a flying school, you will first get a student pilot license under the Government of India, after which you can get all the information related to flying a plane as a learner.
6. Get a Private Pilot License
The minimum criteria to get a student pilot license is 60 hours, which is very easy, while the criteria to get a private pilot license is 210 hours, which is a bit difficult. You can get a private license after student pilot training.
7. Apply for a commercial pilot license
If you complete student pilot training and private pilot training, then you can apply for a commercial pilot license and can fly any plane, but before that you have to pass some tests and exams.
8. Complete type rating training
Almost all planes, including Air India and Air Force planes, have the same method of flying them, but their functions are somewhat different, so you have to complete type rating training which is of 5,6 weeks and is also mandatory.
